Embracing The triumphs of the feminine
Spirit
Episode 6
You wanna be a blade?
Our character is judged by how much integrity we have towards one
another and men merely reflect what they see we women doing to ourselves. Men learn
from women how to treat women and I think our relationships with one another
sets the standard for men to treat us.
1 Thessalonians 5:11, 13 says: “therefore encourage one another and
build each other up. live in peace with each other”
Let’s learn to live and tolerate each other. Every day, we hear and
say thing like: “oh I hate the way she talks” “nahh she’s to scruffy
, I can’t talk to her” “ why did she style her hair that way” “ she’s
way too ugly”
Today a friend told me a story she heard of a girl that committed
suicide because of the hurtful comments she received everyday from people
around. She couldn’t post a picture on any social network without her self
esteem dropping. Every day she received comments that turned her life into a
nightmare. Ladies, what are we doing to ourselves!!!
These are not things we should be saying to ourselves. Let’s build
ourselves up as ladies. Tearing each other down does not build us up in the
sight of people. It simply reveals how shallow we can get to gain attention to
ourselves.
Let’s take a look at dear Ruthie in the Bible. Ruth was one preety
lady and personally, she is a role model! She was so kind, nice, and
hardworking. She didn’t have time to talk about other women. She focused on
what was important and that took her to greater heights and at the end she
married our dear Boaz! Ruth, because of her character, ended up with a really
wealthy husband, and from what I have read, he seems cute too. lool! J. Not only that, she
entered into the lineage of Christ. Imagine all Ruth did as she was on the
field was gathering with the ladies there and saying stuff behind peoples
backs. She probably wouldn’t have had any relevance or something funny. From my
mother, I have learnt how to be a woman. Never be caught saying hurtful things
about your fellow ladies it just makes you look really shallow. Women are
supposed to be the threads bringing everyone together and not the blades
tearing everyone apart!
