Don’t just sit and put your life on hold waiting for “Mr. Knight in shining amour” to come and sweep you off your feet. As single ladies, According to McKinney Hammond, get a life! She doesn’t mean this the harsh way, it just means, arrange your life while waiting. Create something out of yourself instead of just keeping your life on hold!
If you decide to put your life on hold, not developing any part of you but just sitting at home waiting for him to come and probably saying you would think about doing something when you enter into the relationship, then you’ve got it all wrong girl! The thing is, whoever you are waiting for is somewhere making a living for himself and you are just sitting at home waiting for him. Meanwhile, he would expect to come back to an already made someone, not someone he has to start molding.
So, girls, don’t wait for someone to come and pick you up, carry yourself and do something for yourself. It’s very unwise to put your life on hold for a guy. It’s not worth it, I tell you
